The Local Officer on Research Exchange’s role is divided into 2 parts. First, as an Exchange Officer: he is in charge of approaching tutors to create research projects, recruiting outgoing Research Exchange students, and working with the LEO to host incoming Exchange students. Second, as a Research Officer, he is also responsible for research standard capacity building and oversees all research training for the exchange students.
